Penalties:
(These penalties are not for competitive purposes, but for the purpose of making sure we come together, have fun, and build comraderie.)
Teams must conform to a uniform theme. You don't have to wear the same thing each week, but you have to look like you belong on the same team. There must be some coherent theme. Failure to comply will result in a 10% pin penalty for each offending player. We no longer accept white T's with sharpie drawings on it as valid uniform.
Players who cannot bowl on bowling night will incur a 10% penalty to their score. If you know you'll be out, bowl before the scheduled match. (For emergencies and COVID protocols, we will not enforce penalties. Please be honorable and don't lie to us.)
We will enforce these penalties by default.
Because we prioritize health safety, absence because of illness and injuries will have their penalties waived unless determined otherwise by the Board of Directors. Please mention the moment you feel ill or have an injury. Do not wait until the last day.
If you are injured prior to game day and deemed medically unfit to play by game day, book average we be used for your score.
If you are injured during a game and unfit to continue, we will use your book average -10% penalty for your remaining frames.

The draft will be a snake style draft. The order is listed below.

Everyone will have a shot to start the draft.
Sophomores and Rookies drink a shot when they have been drafted.
Rookies drink a shot to end our draft.
Captains Jump Rule: Captains are allowed 1 chance to attempt to jump up 1 position in the draft. If they succeed, they must drink 3 shots. If they do not succeed, they do not need to drink and will keep their jump for later use.
A captain can only be successfully jumped once in the entire draft. (This will help keep the strength of the draft even)

Captains are not allowed to block for other captains.
